Class Fees

New sessions begin every odd-numbered month.
Tuition is based on advance registration for specific time slots. The entire fee is payable to Yoga St Louis in advance and includes a $18.00 non-refundable registration fee. All fees are subject to sales tax.

Standard fee:

  • Class fees are set by the number of classes in the session at $14 per class. Since, for example, there are usually eight Mondays in a two-month session, (8) 1 1/2 hour classes @ $14 each = $112 plus sales tax.
  • New students are welcome to join mid-session with advance permission from the instructor; the fee will be pro-rated. Sorry, no refunds for pro-rated class fees.

Drop-in fees:

  • $18: For those new students who would like to drop-in to try the first class of the session but are unwilling to commit to an entire session, the $18 registration fee will be treated as a drop-in fee.
  • $18: For those students who have completed the Asana Intro course who are not currently enrolled in the entire session but wish to take a class, at the discretion of the instructor.
  • $18: For visiting students from out of town who wish to take a class, at the discretion of the instructor.
  • $14: For those students currently enrolled in the entire session wishing to take an occasional extra class.

Make-ups

Make-ups in an equivalent Intro class must be completed within the current session and cleared in advance with the instructor. Please refer to the Home Practice Blog for notes on the class which you missed.

When classes are full, as a courtesy, please inform the instructor in advance when you plan to be absent so that your space can be made available for a makeup by another student.

If you have symptoms of influenza-like illness, stay home for at least 24 hours after your fever is gone without the use of a fever-reducing medicine. ("Swine" flu symptoms are similar to the symptoms of seasonal flu and include fever, cough, sore throat, runny or stuffy nose, body aches, headache, chills and fatigue, as well as diarrhea and vomiting. It is spread mainly from person to person through coughing or sneezing.)

Refunds for Early Withdrawal

All tuition less the registration fee (e.g. $112 -18 = $94) will be refunded after the first class of the session. After the second class 50% of the tuition less the registration fee will be refunded(e.g. $47). Refunds will neither be given after the third class, nor for pro-rated class fees.

Date of the refund request, not class attendance, will be used as the criteria for dating refunds. Refund requests must either be received by email or be discussed with the instructor prior to the day of the class.

Sorry, because of their small size, no refunds for New! classes, private classes, workshops or intensives.

Gift certificates are non-refundable & must be used within six months of the date of purchase.

Please plan to arrive 25 minutes early to fill out the paperwork prior to the first class.
