Bruce brings to his teaching both a well developed eye for symmetry and balance nurtured through his career as a professional architect, and a love of the philosophy found in the classic yoga texts. He designed and renovated the Yoga St. Louis studio specifically for the practice of yoga.
Bruce was instrumental in bringing Eric Small, the founder of the Multiple Sclerosis Society’s nationally-acclaimed “Iyengar Yoga for MS Program,” to St. Louis in 2002 to initiate a MS Yoga Teacher Training Program under the auspices of the Gateway chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. In May, 2005, Yoga St. Louis hosted a follow up Teacher Training Program that resulted in the inception of an ongoing Yoga for MS class at the studio.
